Our Track team did amazing at our first meet of the season. Hannah Reed was our highest scorer with 6 points. Hannah took third in both the 1600m and the 800m. Marisa De Hoyos was our second highest scorer at 4 points. Marisa took 5th in the 200m and 3rd in the 100m. In high jump, Shannon Boothe took 4th place at a height of 3ft 10in, Hannah Reed took 6th at a height of 3ft 8in, and Marisa De Hoyos took 11th at 3ft 6in. Tyler Nichols took 3rd in the 800m after learning some race strategy during his 1600m. Overall the Highland Hikers showed incredible drive and sportsmanship the whole meet.
