Despite the 4-1 final score, our game against Mound Fort was much closer than the final score would indicate. There was a lot of strong play for much of the game, and we proved that we could play well against a highly-skilled team. For most of the clock, the game was tied. Our solo goal was scored by Bryan Pantoja, who played with a lot of energy throughout the game and was an example of our fierce determination to compete. The whole team played with heart and demonstrated their toughness and dedication to each other. We look forward to the rematch at Highland.
