The first home game this season was a special moment for Highland as we debuted new home uniforms. It was also a significant victory moving forward in league play. Our Hiker boys played well and dominated in every aspect of the game, cruising to an 8-0 victory. Our offense was on point, with Jesus Mendoza (3), Lester Vega (2), Giovanni Pantoja, Bryan Aguiar, and Gabriel Guadron scoring for the Hikers. Assists from those goals came from Giovanni Pantoja (2), Manuel Rios, Bryan Rodriguez, Hugo Castro, Lester Vega, and Emilio Ruiz. Goalkeeper Jonnatan Cendejas played a perfect game, making several key saves with one spectacular jumping punch to clear the ball out of danger. Overall, this game was a great showcase for many of our talented players.
