We had a tough game with Mound Fort last night. The final score doesn’t explain the whole situation. Coach James, Mound Fort’s coach, does a great job with his team and they did an excellent job taking us out of our sets and plays. As a team, there are a lot of things we still need to work on and get better at. Luckily it is early in the season, and we still have a lot of time to do that.
Trenton Harris led the team with 17 points yesterday, and Jordan Perea had a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Tae Lucas and Tony Amezcua gave us great minutes and energy off the bench.
The B team looked good. They picked up their second win last night and are definitely getting better at the little things we ask of them.
