Last night our boys played their first game of the season at HighMark Charter School. The team played a complete game on both ends of the court and came out with a 62-37 win. Elijah Harper and Trenton Harris led the team with 27 and 21 points, while Jordan Perea chipped in 9 points along with 15 rebounds. As their coach I am pleased with their effort but know it is only one win, and we will still have a long season to go. There are things as a team we can still work on and get better at.
The B team came away with a 15-14 win as well. This was the first organized game a lot of these players had played, and it was good for them to get out there and be able to play and shake some nerves off.
